before you get in touch
Before you get in touch, it is a good idea to speak to your GP about your chronic pain. They will be able to give you expert advice about whether you would benefit from a consultation from a chronic pain specialist.
It is preferable, but not essential to have a referral either from your own GP or a specialist. However, this tends to make the consultation smoother and reduces the possibility of presenting with a condition that I can’t help you with.
Please bring all medications and relevant clinical letters with you for your appointment.
Payment
Cancel / Change appointment
Self funding patients may pay in advance of the day of appointment by a telephone card transaction.
Payment on the day of appointment can be by card transaction or cash.
Unfortunately I cannot accept payment by cheque on the day of appointment.
If you have medical insurance, please ensure that you have a pre-authorisation for the appointment. Please check whether an excess applies.
